Product Manager

Job Description

Support top management in bringing in new products that fits into our product focus area(s)

  • Scout for new products through research and participation in exhibitions and fairs;
  • Negotiate with product owners for viable master distribution contracts, taking into account territories for exclusive distributorship, transfer pricing, minimum order quantities etc.;
  • Build up product knowledge and to facilitate knowledge transfer process within the core team, with the sales team, and with sub-distributors and agents;
  • Manage relationship with product owners; and
  • Work with sales team to establish realistic deliverables with product owners

Manage products throughout the contractual life cycle and drive associated deliverables

  • Manage timelines associated with product such as product registrations, sales quota, product shipment, billings, after sales service etc.;
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure that sales targets are met; and
  • Push for renewal of contractual agreements with product owners
  • Oversee day-to-day activities to ensure that medical devices meet requirements for sales and marketing plans
  • Develop communication materials and market collaterals for the products
  • Work with Engineering and R&D Team and all key functional areas to ensure quality product development
  • Provide support for the Sales and Customer Services
  • Be the “voice of the customer” and generates Market Specifications Requirements for improving the robot system and development of new applications

 

Competency Requirements (Education, Experience, Training, Skill)

  • Diploma / Degree in Engineering, Bioscience or Business Studies
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience
  • Strong effective communicator
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in holding conversations with customers and customer-focused product development and outreach
  • Good team player with the ability to co-ordinate efforts of a team from different specializations
  • Ability to lead in an environment of constant change
